25 states
It is amazing how many states we have done. From Michigan up to Main, Main to Florida, Florida to Texas, and in between the four.
It is crazy to think that we already have done more than half of our trip! Time has flew by so quickly but i'm really excited for what lies ahead!
A Favorite Memory of the New England States
11/1/17
A favorite memory of the New England states was when we went to Long Island, New York and saw our cousins, the Markers. We drove in the van to their house and spent two nights there. On september 8 we arrived at their house it was already dark so we didn't stay up very late.
When we woke up we jumped on their trampoline until breakfast. Breakfast was delicious! We had a ton of pancakes and sausage (which is awesome for me because sausage is my favorite breakfast food). When breakfast was done, we went outside and jumped on the trampoline for a bit longer. After a while mom told us to go and get our swimsuits on. I think by that time we all were getting a little squirmy because we were going to the ocean!!!
The day had been really windy so the waves were huge! When we got to the spot to set up Jonny and Dad were in right away. We stayed for about 2 more hours then we went to go and see the lighthouse. The lighthouse was really cool and pretty. By that time it started to get time to go back and watch a football game. After the game was done we got ready to go to bed and soon after we fell asleep.
In the morning we had bagels which is very common in Long Island N.Y. (they have bagel stores just like donut stores!) after we were finished eating we stayed for a little bit longer and then left. I would love to go there again if we could.
Hi!!! i'm Brooklyn.
My most favorite memory so far is when we were in New Port Rhode Island it was a really windy day with wind gust up to 50 mph. it was super foggy and there was a misty rain the tide was coming in. We were exploring the cliffs the rocks were all ready really slippery but with the with the wind it made it that much harder. we were following a paved trail for a wile but when we saw a small dirt path and went down on it ,it was a small cove. the cove was amazingly cool we saw a lot of cool rocks but the tide was still coming in so if we did not get out of there we would have died most likely. We had a short window of time to get out so we took it. we got out of there in time. i'm super glad I got to see New Port Rhode Island and hope to see more places like it!!!!!
